Teevio & The Aces—TVA—are a Rhode Island-based quartet bringing together R&B, soul, funk, pop and rock through a distinctly modern lens.

Fronted by vocalist Tristan Olivera, alongside Jacob Harwood on guitar, Brendan Speck on bass, and Maximus Claros on drums, TVA pairs hook-driven songwriting with the musicianship of a band that is very much built for the stage. Their sound moves comfortably between contemporary R&B and pop, deep-pocket funk, jazz-influenced rhythm, and guitar-driven rock.

A defining feature of TVA is that the band performs 100% live, without backing tracks, while still creating a polished and contemporary sound. That combination—modern songwriting, instrumental musicianship, and genuine live chemistry—has quickly distinguished the quartet within the New England music scene.

In 2026, TVA released its debut single, “Wake Up,” and was selected from hundreds of New England musicians as one of three finalists in The Search RI, culminating in a performance at Centreville Bank Stadium. Later that year, TVA advanced through Motif Magazine’s summer Battle of the Bands and ultimately captured the 2026 Motif Battle of the Bands title at PVDFest in Providence.

The band has continued to expand its regional footprint through festivals, venue appearances, community events, and original music. With additional releases in development and a growing live schedule, TVA is focused on expanding throughout the Northeast while developing relationships with booking agents, management, festivals, and music-industry partners who can help support the band’s next stage of growth.
